Great Week on the Water

Last week was a good one for us in terms of wildlife sightings. We saw a Gray whale one day, a Humpback the next, then a group of Orcas and we also saw a healthy Black Bear sow with her TRIPLETS a couple of time. Most days we saw sea otters, all this along with the “usual” sightings of sea lions, seals, a multitude of eagles and other sea birds.

Wildlife Tour Company of the Year in BC

We are extremely proud to have been awarded “Wildlife Tour Company of the Year in BC” for the second year in a row!!!

The boys are leaving town

The “boys club” has thinned out considerably in recent days.  Only a few California sea lions remain as most have left the area and headed south to meet up with their ladies. Luckily they don’t stay away for long, so we eagerly await their return in late summer.

One Big Momma!

Recently we’ve been lucky enough to get the odd sighting of this sow and her two cubs

Now Open for the Season

Yesterday we ran our first tour of the season.  We had sunny skies, good views and wildlife sightings, a delicious gourmet meal catered by Heartwood Kitchen while anchored in the Broken Group Islands and we even saw three Gray whales!

Perfect October Days

The last few days have been glorious, the kind of conditions we hope for all year:

Fabulous weather and great sightings over the last few days.

Still Cruisin’

Cruising through breathtaking scenery on a fine day – what more could a person want! The good news is that it is not too late – we’re open until Oct. 14th.

Under The Watchful Eye of Sea Otters

This year we have been seeing sea otters almost every day.  Sometimes we wonder whether it is them who entertain us or vice versa!

Everyone has to give their feet a good cleaning once in a while – especially when they are this big!

Eagles and Sea Otters

We always see a multitude of Bald eagles, especially in the early part of our season, and this year we have also been seeing sea otters almost daily. Here some superb images taken by one of our guests, Patrick Marshall, who came out with us on July 31st
